IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE SUPERVISORY BOARD (ESB)
THE PRESIDENT, STEVE OWEN – HUGHES MBE
As Fire Cover 233 was at the distribution stage a message was received from our President, Steve Owen – Hughes MBE that regrettably, and after much thought, he had reached the decision that he must step down.
He stated that he has been conscious that he doesn’t have the time to give The Society due to his other commitments and is acutely aware that he would not be able to do the role justice.
In closing he wished us all the very best for the future, saying that he remains supportive and committed to The Society’s aims.
I am sure the membership would like to join the ESB in thanking him for the time and support he has afforded The Society and extend best wish to him for the future.
A replacement President will be sought and further details will follow in Fire Cover and on The Society’s web site.
