Grenfell Remembered

Grenfell remembered

Five years ago today, on 14th June 2017 a fire started accidentally in a fridge freezer on the fourth floor of the 24 storey Grenfell Tower, a tower block in North Kensington, London.

The resulting inferno was the biggest domestic fire since the Second World War.

The Fire Brigade Society remembers the 72 people who died, and many injured, along with the Emergency Services who attended for whom it must have been a very traumatic experience.
