Im trying to find out some information of Former Appliances which have served at Pembroke Dock Fire Station Pembrokeshire.

On the 31st May 2012 we have our 50th Anniversary and inviting all former firefighters who have served throughout its history, which is a mammoth task as we are a Day Crewed Station (Some 289 names so far).

Is there a National Register of Appliances, and is it possible some former appliances still survive?

Many thanks for any help you could give me.

Dennis RS HPE 752V ex BAE Weybridge for Sale or will be scrapped
Currently with Serco International; due to a broken clutch is being removed from the fleet and is available at scrap value of £800. It needs to be removed ASAP or will be scrapped.
It is believed to have been new to BAE Systems at Weybridge (now the Brooklands museum site). As such it seems quite rare for an RS to be supplied new to a non LA brigade. Also it has a slightly different body & roof monitor.

I own an ex-Somerset Auxiliary Fire Service Matchless motorcycle and I am researching the history of my motorcycle and also the motorcycles used by the Somerset Fire Brigade/AFS.  I have been advised by a prominent AFS researcher to contact you to see you might be able to help in locating someone who might have a Fleet List for Somerset Fire Brigade/AFS for the period 1953 to 1968.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes, Dave Stapleton

The London Fire Brigade is again trying to close its museum. It is vital that the collection remains intact, if not at its present site, the at a location in south London. Please sign our online petition at http://www.petitionbuzz.com/petitions/lfbmuseum
Please also show your support for the museum by writing to Boris Johnson, Mayor of London.

During the 1960's I was a member of the AFS and would dearly like to contact other members from the Cheshire area together with anyone who attended Moreton in the Marsh or Chorley Hall  or was stationed in Bebington AFS station close by the Oval around this period.
Thanks in anticipation.

Hi, Could anyone please help me with an enquiry as to whether any Austin 1100 were used by British Fire Brigades as officers or staff cars? I have been told yes by the Austin 1100 club but they have no photos. If you have any copies of photos I will willingly pay for them , Many thanks, Malc.

I wonder whether my registration number WDO 999 was ever on a fire engine. It is a Spalding area plate issued I believe in the early sixties.I know it's a long shot, but DVLA will not help. Andrew Moore.
